The move came as an olive branch of sorts extended to Airbnb hosts blindsided by a the home-sharing platform's decision several weeks ago to give full refunds to guests who canceled reservations in order to stay home, as health officials and governments have urged. This is a dramatic turn for Airbnb, which was expected to be one of the hottest technology IPOs or direct listed companies this year before the novel coronavirus crisis hit the U.S. last month.
