【Modal and Thermal Analysis of a Modified Connecting Rod of an Internal Combustion Engine Using Finite Element Method】

This study considered modal and thermal analyses to investigate the suitability of al 7075 materials for connecting rod design. The main objective of this study was to determine the possibility of using aluminium alloy 7075 material to design and manufacture a connecting rod for weight optimization without losing the strength of the connecting rod.
